Live Life in Plastic at the Malibu Barbie Cafe
Live Life in Plastic at the Malibu Barbie Cafe
Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie hits theaters this summer and you can get the party started at the Malibu Barbie Cafe in Seaport. Immerse yourself in a picture-perfect Barbie Land with bright, colorful décor that pays homage to Malibu Barbie’s 1970s origins. If the décor isn’t enough, there are plenty of photo ops throughout the cafe. Kick back on colorful beach chairs or ride the waves on a bright orange surfboard. You can even take pictures inside a life-size Barbie box (complete with accessories, of course).
Master Chef finalist Becky Brown has masterminded a delicious menu serving classic casual fare with a uniquely Barbie twist. Start with something savory like the Beach Burger, before digging into some Pacific Paradise Rainbow Pancakes. Wash it down with a float served in a bright pink Barbie convertible. Barbie fans of all ages are welcome and there’s a kids menu including Nifty Nuggets and Groovy Grilled Cheese. Tickets to the cafe automatically include a 90-minute stay with an entrée and a side.
From July 21st you can plan the perfect Barbie-filled day. Start with lunch at the Malibu Barbie Cafe before heading just one door down to see Barbie on the big screen at the IPIC Fulton Market movie theater.
Open: May 17 - Sept 15
Address: 19 Fulton St., New York, NY 10038
