Kips Bay Greenmarket

From May to November, residents and the greater neighborhood can shop for local produce every Thursday from 8am - 5pm right outside of Kips Bay Court.

The market, organized by GrowNYC, will offer fresh, local seafood, breads and pastries, vegetables, orchard fruits and juices, and dairy products.

On top of providing the Kips Bay neighborhood with the freshest locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as artisanal baked goods and breads, each week the GrowNYC’s Kips Bay Greenmarket will host free community activities, cooking demonstrations, nutrition education, and recipe distribution.

Greenmarket's vendors come from broad a section of the Northeast, including parts of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and New England, providing New Yorkers with a bountiful and diverse array of fresh foods.
